Loredana Frescura scrive storie a volte tenere a volte forti di adolescenti e di ragazzi che non giocano a fare i super eroi. Insegnante, ha la passione per il cinema e per la musica. Nel 1994 ha esordito con "Il segreto di Icaro" (Piemme) che è stato selezionato fra i cinque finalisti del premio Il Battello a Vapore città di Verbania 1994. Nel 1997 ha ricevuto il premio Città de Cingoli.
Loredana Frescura was born in Papiano, a small village near Marsciano (Perugia) before mankind set foot on the Moon (not much before though) and still lives there, writing stories, some times sweet and other times harsh, of children and teenagers who do not longer play at the superhero game. A teacher, she loves music and the cinema. In 1994, she made her debut with "Il segreto di Icaro" [Icarus' Secret] (Piemme) which was short listed with four others for the 1994 Città di Verbania Il Battello a Vapore Prize. In 1997, she was the recipient of Città de Cingoli Prize.
