Arci Te Brunetti

Via Gian Battista Visi, 5, Mantova

In the Te Brunetti area, Via Visi n 5, are located the premises of the Arci club. The building dates back from 1938 and was then used to host the «Dopolavoro» (after work recreational centre). Initially it was a branch of an elementary school and then a Chapel. After the war, the building was restructured as a residence and finally under the name of Enal, became a recreational centre for the people of the neighbourhood who used to frequent the Arci Salardi.
In 1967 it officially became the Arci Te Brunetti after a restoration by its members. At the beginning of the activity, the Circolo (Membership Club) aims to awaken public opinion to the issue of the inevitable isolation of the «Borgo Te».
Il Circolo frequently organizes cultural initiatives, political debates, meetings and its restaurant is always open. It also has a summer season full of shows and dancing events.
