Mostefa Souag, laureato in Lingua e letteratura araba presso l'Università di Algeri, con un Master in Studi letterari presso l'Università di Washington, è stato corrispondente per numerose testate giornalistiche arabe. È il direttore del Centro studi di Al Jazeera e direttore responsabile del canale televisivo satellitare News Al Jazeera, l'emittente televisiva satellitare che ha sede in Qatar ma che viene seguita in tutto il mondo. Il network arabo, grazie alla libertà d'informazione, ha contribuito a diffondere nel mondo arabo un anelito di libertà ed ha influenzato i recenti sconvolgimenti politici che hanno interessato il Nord Africa. Con il suo modo di intendere la notizia, Souag vuole fornire un'informazione accurata e completa inviando giornalisti e telecamere in ogni luogo. Mostefa Souag is the director of the Al Jazeera Research Centre and director of the satellite TV channel Al Jazeera. After graduating in Arab Literature at Algiers University and obtaining a Master's degree in Literature Studies at Washington University, he worked for many Arab newspapers. He is now in charge of the news department of Al Jazeera, the TV broadcaster based in Qatar and watched all over the world. Al Jazeera, thanks to its freedom of information, has contributed to the spread freedom ideals in the Arab world, ideals that have influenced the recent events in North Africa. Souag's mission is to offer accurate and complete information by sending journalist and cameras everywhere. He is a staunch believer in freedom of information.
