Nata nel 1984, Anna Lewis ha studiato archeologia all'Università di Manchester e studi celtici all'Università del Galles, a Cardiff. Nel 2010 ha vinto il premio Orange/Harper's Bazaar per il miglior racconto ed è risultata segnalata nella Commonwealth short story competition. Per le sue poesie si è aggiudicata diversi premi e ha ricevuto una borsa di studio di Academi, l'agenzia nazionale gallese per la promozione della letteratura, per lavorare a una prima raccolta. Alcune delle sue composizioni poetiche sono state pubblicate su riviste britanniche e irlandesi tra cui "Agenda", "Modern Poetry in Translation", "New Welsh Review", "Poetry Wales" e "The Shop". Ha inoltre tenuto dei reading all'Oxford Literary Festival, al Cardiff BayLit Festival, al Dylan Thomas Centre di Swansea e alla Welsh Assembly. Abita a Cardiff.
Anna Lewis was born in 1984. She studied archeology at the University of Manchester and Celtic studies at the University of Wales in Cardiff. In 2010 she won the Orange/Harper's Bazaar Prize for best short story and was recommended for the Commonwealth short story competition. She won several prizes for her poems, including a scholarship by Academi, the Welsh national agency to promote literature, allowing her to work on her first collection. Many of her poems have been published in British and Irish magazines including "Agenda", "Modern Poetry in Translation", "New Welsh Review", "Poetry Wales" and "The Shop". She also held readings at the Oxford Literary Festival, at the Cardiff BayLit Festival, at the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea and at the Welsh Assembly. She lives in Cardiff.
