Jonas Jonasson, nato in Svezia e residente a Ponte Tresa, è giornalista e consulente media. "Il centenario che saltò dalla finestra e scomparve", ai primi posti delle classifiche di vendita in Svezia per oltre un anno, è in corso di traduzione in oltre trenta Paesi. È stato nominato «Miglior libro dell'anno 2009» in Svezia; premiato dai librai svedesi con lo Swedish Book Seller Award 2009 (lo stesso che fu di Stieg Larsson) e vincitore dello Swedish Audio Prize 2009. Dal romanzo è in preparazione un film con un cast internazionale.

It was awarded Best Book of the Year in Sweden in 2009, the Swedish Book Seller Award 2009 (as was awarded to Stig Larsson), as well as the Swedish Audio Prize 2009. The novel is being turned into a film with an international cast.
