Nata a Como, dopo una laurea in Lettere moderne all'Università degli Studi di Milano e un master sul teatro italiano del dopoguerra alla Sorbona, lavora a Parigi come drammaturga e regista.
Ha scritto (in francese) quattro pièces: "La Mission" (2001), "L'Envol" (2003), "Le Grand Fleuve" (2007), pubblicate dalla casa editrice L'Harmattan, "C'est pas la fin du monde"(2010), un monologo, "Ce soir j'ovule" (2008 - pubblicato da Les Cygnes), e un atto unico, "Mariages".
Con la propria compagnia Théâtre vivant (fondata nel 2000) ha allestito i due primi suoi testi, a Parigi. "La Mission" è andato in scena dapprima al Théâtre du Nord-Ouest, per due stagioni (2001-2002 e 2002-2003), poi all'Aktéon Théâtre nel 2004. "L'Envol" ha debuttato nel 2005 al Vingtième Théâtre. "Ce soir j'ovule" è stato in scena dal gennaio al dicembre 2010 a Parigi al Théâtre des Mathurins con l'interpretazione di Catherine Marchal, regia di Nadine Trintignant, e ripreso a Avignon 2011 (Théâtre la Luna). "Mariages" verrà allestito da Gil Bourasseau, a Parigi al Théâtre du Tambour Royal in febbraio 2012.
In Italia, "L'Envol" (titolo italiano: "Il Ritorno") andrà in scena al Teatro Stabile di Bolzano con la regia di Marco Bernardi, debutto 10 novembre 2011. Il monologo (titolo italiano "Stasera ovulo") ha debuttato al teatro Astoria di Lerici nel marzo 2009, interprete Antonella Questa, regia di Virginia Martini ed è tuttora in tournée.
"La Mission", nella traduzione italiana, è stata l'oggetto di una lettura al Teatro Pierlombardo nel 2003, nell'ambito del Festival Outis-Tramedautore.
Come regista, oltre ai propri testi, ha messo in scena la "Trilogia della Villeggiatura" di Goldoni (Théâtre du Nord-Ouest, 2009-2010) e "Jouer avec le feu" di August Strindberg (2006 - Aktéon, ripresa all'Essaïon, al Festival de l'abbaye Blanche di Mortain e al Festival du Val d'Oise) e, al Théâtre du Nord-Ouest, "Théâtre" di Jean-Luc Jeener (2002, poi ripreso per la televisione - TNT Direct 8 - nel 2004), "Il faut qu'une porte soit ouverte ou fermée" di Alfred de Musset (2000), "Gamine" di Renato Mainardi (2000), "Le fascinant Anton Pavlovitch" di Giorgio Prosperi (1999).
Ha tradotto diversi testi letterari e teatrali (Bernard-Marie Koltès, Olivier Py, Marguerite Duras, Jean-Claude Grumberg, Laura Forti, Carlo Goldoni, Steven Berkoff...).
Born in Como in 1965, after graduating in Modern Literature at Statale University in Milan and a Master on Italian post-war theatre, she worked in Paris as a dramaturg and director. She wrote four plays in French: "La Mission" (2001), "L'Envol" (2003), "Le Grand Fleuve" (2007) published by the publishing house L'Harmattan, "C'est pas la fin du monde" (2010), a monologue, "Ce soir j'ovule" (2008) published by Les Cygnes, and "Mariages", a one-acter.
With her own theatre company Théâtre vivant (founded in 2000) she staged her first two texts in Paris. "La Mission" had its premiere at the Théâtre du Nord-Ouest and played for two seasons (2001/2002 and 2002/2003), and then passed to the Aktéon Théâtre in 2004. "L'Envol" was first performed in 2005 at the Vingtième Théâtre. "Ce soir j'ovule" was on stage from January till Dezember 2010 at the Théâtre des Mathurins in Paris, Catherin Marchal performing, directed by Nadine Trintignant, and was resumed in Avignon in 2011 (Théâtre la Luna). "Mariages" was staged by Gil Bourasseau in Paris at the Théâtre du Tambour Royal in Feburary 2012.
In Italy "L'Envol" (Italian title "Il Ritorno") had its premiere at the Teatro Stabile in Bolzano on 10 November 2011, directed by Marco Bernardi. The monologue (Italian title "Stasera ovulo") premiered at the theatre Astoria in Lerici in March 2009, seeing a performance by Antonella Questa, directed by Virginia Martini and is still on tour.
The Italian translation of "La Mission" was performed as a reading at the Teatro Pierlombardo in 2003, during the Festival Outis-Tramedautore.
