NICONOTE aka Nicoletta Magalotti, una delle voci più interessanti della storia recente. Ha sviluppato un personale linguaggio tra musica e performance dando vita a un gruppo di lavoro mobile e interdipendente. Agisce in territori molteplici legati al teatro, alla musica, alle installazioni e al nightclubbing, sperimentando diversi linguaggi dello spettacolo vivente. Negli anni '80 è stata la voce della band new wave italiana i Violet Eves con la fiorentina Ira records insieme a Litfiba e Diaframma. Di lì a poco crea insieme a David Love Calò il clubbing più cool nel made in Italy anni '90. È stata diretta da registi quali Romeo Castellucci / Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, Maurizio Fiume, Patricia Allio, Francesco Micheli, Fabrizio Arcuri e altri. Ha collaborato con musicisti di estrazione molto diverse da Patrizio Fariselli a Mas Collective, da Teresa De Sio a Saluti da Saturno. Con il suo concerto/performance "Rhapsody" (o Alfabeto in sogno) è stata ospite alla Fondation Cartier per l'arte contemporanea di Paris. Attualmente è impegnata in "Orestea" di Romeo Castellucci, nuovamente in scena nella ripresa del mitico spettacolo del 1995, dove NicoNote interpretò una Cassandra assai potente e vocalmente peculiare. Il debutto previsto a dicembre al Theatre de l'Odeon di Paris per il festival D'Automne. Dopo l'album composto insieme al producer francese Mikael Plunian (Shane Cough / Fatale) dal titolo Alphabe Dream 2013 Cinedelic / Audioglobe è ora impegnata nella produzione del suo nuovo album Emotional Cabaret, realizzato con i suoi attuali compagni di viaggio Alfredo Nuti e Dani Marzi. L'album avrà ospiti speciali come Stefano Pilia (Massimo Volume, In Zaire), Luca Bergia (Marlene Kuntz), Francesco Motta (Criminal Jokers), Mirco Mariani (Vinicio Capossela, Saluti da Saturno), Enrico Gabrielli (Calibro 35, Afterhours). È in atto una campagna di crowdfunding di supporto su Musicraiser.
NicoNote - aka Nicoletta Magalotti - performer / outsider artist of the independent scene - has developed a personal language of music and performance, giving life to a mobile and interdependent work group. It acts in many areas related to theater, music, installations and nightclubbig, experimenting with different languages of performing arts. She came to the theater very young, by meeting teachers as Yoshi Oida, Gabriella Bartolomei, Woytek Krukowsky. In the eighties she is the singer of the band Violet Eves, in the italian new wave, by the Florentine label IRA records with Litfiba and Diaframma. In the nineties she invented unconventional spaces, including the Morphine inside Cocoricò Riccione, which became in those years (1994/2007) a place of radical performative and musical experiments. He has collaborated with musicians and producers from various backgrounds such as David Love Calò, Mas Collective, Patrizio Fariselli, Mauro Pagani, Stefano Pilia, Wang Inc, Piero Pelù, Teresa De Sio, Ghigo Renzulli, Mikael Plunian, Saluti da Saturno and others. As actress she has been lead by directors like Romeo Castellucci / Societas Raffaello Sanzio, Patricia Allio, Maurizio Fiume, Francesco Micheli, Fabrizio Arcuri and others. In 2010 she was invited with her concert "Rhapsody" (or "Alphabet Dream") at the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris within Soiree Nomades. Her latest cd album is "Alphabe Dream" by Cinedelic rec/ Audioglobe 2013, the title track was composed with the French producer and composer Mikael Plunian (Shane, Fatale). She is currently engaged in "Sweet Home Europe", production of Teatro di Roma, text by Davide Carnevali, directed by Fabrizio Arcuri- NicoNote sings the music composed together with Davide Arneodo and Luca Bergia (Marlene Kuntz). He recently participated to Unità di Sonrizzazione by Enrico Gabrielli, Sergio Giusti, EneceFilm. In June 2015 she presented a site specific entitled STILL the butcher project - produced by Festival Of Regions Biennale in Upper Austria. In December 2015 she will be in "Oresteia again", directed by Romeo Castellucci, a reprise of the legendary show of Societas Raffaello Sanzio of 1995 in which NicoNote played a memorable Cassandra from Aeschylus.
