A Parigi ha frequentato l'École Supérieure d'Arts Graphiques. E' grafica, fotografa, costumista e illustratrice. Ha cominciato la sua attività artistica come fotografa per poi dedicarsi interamente all'illustrazione, disegnando copertine, illustrando testi di vari autori e in seguito producendo edizioni personali. Ha lavorato come grafica per numerose testate e case editrici francesi, fra cui "Le Monde", "Télérama", "Gallimard", "Le Centre Pompidou", "Nouvelles Images". Ha esposto i suoi primi pop-up presso la Galleria Nigel Greenwood a Londra nel 1989. Marion Bataille si dedica anche all'antica arte del collage fatto a mano.
"ABC3D", pubblicato in Italia da Corraini, è il suo terzo libro.
In Paris she attended École Supérieure d'Arts Graphiques (Secondary Art School for Graphics). Marion Bataille is a graphic and costume designer as well as illustrator. She made her debut as a photographer and then devoted herself fully to illustrating, drawing covers, illustrating various texts and then producing her own editions. She worked as an art director for a number of dailies and French publishing houses including "Le Monde", "Télérama", "Gallimard", "Le Centre Pompidou", "Nouvelles Images". She exhibited her firs pop-ups at the London's Gallery Nigel Greenwood. Mario Bataille also deals with the ancient art of hand-made collage. "ABC3D", published in Italy by Corraini, is her third book.
