Rachel Trezise è nata nella valle della Rhondda, nel Galles meridionale, nel 1978. Ha studiato all'Università di Glamorgan (Galles) e a quella di Limerick (Irlanda). Il suo primo romanzo, "In and Out of the Goldfish Bowl" (Dentro e fuori la boccia del pesce rosso) è stato una delle opere vincitrici del prestigioso Premio Orange Futures nel 2001. Nel 2002 è stata selezionata per Scritture Giovani. Nell'ottobre del 2006, grazie al suo libro di brevi racconti "Fresh Apples", Trezise vince il Dylan Thomas Prize, il più prestigioso premio per scrittori di lingua inglese sotto i trent'anni.
Rachel Trezise was born in Rhondda Valley in South Wales in 1978. She studied at Glamorgan University (Wales) and Limerick University (Ireland). Her first novel "In and Out of the Goldfish Bowl" was one of the winning books of the prestigious Orange Futures Prize 2001. After a trip to New York, where she delivered several speeches, she started working on her second novel "These Glory Days".
