Istituto Tecnico per le Attività Sociali Andrea Mantegna, Palestra di Santa Lucia
Via Pietro Frattini, 8, Mantova
Andrea Mantegna.
The gymnasium of Santa Lucia is located in Frattini street facing Casa Andreasi. Sant'Egidio was the first area of building expansion of the new town towards the south and it was already densely populated before becoming a part of the new town. Near the church of the same name, which dates back to the XII century, in 1380 the church and the convent of Santa Lucia were built for the nuns of Santa Chiara by Raimondo de Lupi, Marquis of Soragno. The Santa Lucia church was designated in 1786 as a private warehouse. Today it is a gymnasium and one of the meetings of Festivaletteratura will be held here.
