MY (DREAM) LIFE AS A MIDFIELDER

2021_09_12_546
Colum McCann's father was a professional goalkeeper for Charlton Athletic in England in the early 1950's, but it turned out that his father was a better writer than he was a footballer. Sean McCann became a journalist back in his hometown of Dublin. Still he took his young son Colum from Dublin to England to watch matches... and a love of the beautiful game was born. Colum never supported any of the big teams but instead fell in love with Stoke City. All his life he has remained a Stoke City fan. Today he will answer the question that everybody asks him: «Stoke City - why, why, why?».
