Guido Affini è nato nel 1963 a Pavia. Si è laureato in Storia per passione delle storie. A dieci anni è entrato nel gruppo scout di Pavia e ne è uscito vent'anni dopo, solo perché la libreria era diventato l'ambiente dove trovare le sue avventure educative. Insieme ad Andrea Grisi ha fondato nel 1992 la libreria il Delfino, che nel 2010 ha vinto il Premio Andersen e nel 2019 il riconoscimento Luciano e Silvana Mauri come libreria migliore d'Italia.

Guido Affini was born in 1963 in Pavia. Due to his passion for stories he graduated in History. When he was 10 he joined the boy scouts of Pavia and left them 20 years later, now finding his educative adventures in libraries. He has been reading children's books for many years and follows the adventures of his friends: Andrea Valente, Francesco Mastandrea and Matteo Corradini. He collaborates with Roberto Denti's initiative to coordinate children's bookshops. He is in charge of the Il Delfino library in Pavia, and was awarded the Andersen Prize for literature for the promotion of literature in 2010.
